CRACKER FUDGE
2 cups sugar. 1/2 cup milk. 2 tablespoons peanut butter 1/4 lb crushed crackers.
Bring sugar and milk to a boil and boil for about 3 minutes. Add peanut butter, stir till dissolved. Add crackers and pour into buttered 9x9 inch pan.
This recipe actually belonged to a friend of mine. I was amazed the first time I had it. It was so very easy and it really tastes good. I hope you will try this one. Be sure to let this set for some time. Preferably over night. It will be crumbly if you cut it too soon.

SOUTHWEST GUACAMOLE
5 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted. 1/4 cup lime juice. 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 medium tomato.
Mash avocados in a medium bowl until slightly lumpy. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for one hour or more. Makes 3 cups.

VEGETABLE DIP
1 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise. 1 cup sour cream. 1 tablespoon dill weed.
1 tablespoon Beau Monde seasoning. 1 tablespoon minced onion.
Mix all ingredients together and chill for several hours to incorporate all the flavors.

HAM DIP
1 jar pimento or other flavored cheese. 1 can deviled ham. 1/2 cup mayonnaise.
1 teaspoon grated onion.
blend all ingredients with a mixer. Refrigerate for several hours.

POTATO CANDY
Below is a Candy recipe that we had for Easter and Christmas time, back in the 1940,s
Potato Candy #1
1 cup of warm mashed potatoes. 1 teaspoon vanilla. 1 Tablespoon butter. 1 Box of Confectioners sugar(10X,sugar). 1 cup chopped nuts. 1 sm. pkg. of melted chocolate chips.
Combine all of the first 5 ingredients and press into a square dish-top with melted chocolate chips. When the chocolate firms up-cut into squares.
Potato Candy #2
Peanut Butter Pin Wheels.
1 cup mashed potatoes. 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 Tablespoon butter. 1 box 10X powdered sugar. Peanut butter.
Mix vanilla and butter with warm potato. Combine the sugar. This mixture will be stiff, you can soften it with a bit of milk if necessary. Roll to 1/2" thickness. Spread with peanut butter and roll into a log. Slice and serve in pin wheel fashion.
