Some of the most memorable times of our past are associated with food. I remember that my mother had homemade cakes or cookies most every afternoon when we got home from school. Many of those recipes belonged to my Grandmother Handley. 

This world we live in today is such a busy place. I never had time to bake every day for my kids, and I am sure you don't either, but we can remember, and once in a while we can make something special for our families.

The purpose of this page is to share some of those wonderful recipes that we remember, and that have been passed down. 

There will be 6 categories:

SNACKS, SALADS, MEATS,VEGETABLES, BREADS, and DESSERTS.

When you send in your recipes please feel free to share some of the memories   of your past, such as what does your recipe mean to you? Did your mom cook it for  every Sunday dinner? I hope you will relay any memory you have.  I will post them on whichever page the recipe is for. Each individual recipe will be up on the website for at least 30 days. After that I will store them in a file so if someone wants to find past recipe I can get it for them I will post only your first name and the state you are from. Of course you may opt not to have your name and state published.

I WANT YOU TO FEEL FREE TO SUBMIT MORE THAN ONE RECIPE, HOWEVER, I DO ASK THAT YOU ONLY SUBMIT ONE IN EACH CATEGORY EVERY MONTH TO ALLOW OTHERS A CHANCE TO GET THEIR RECIPES IN.
